Earth Spirit WIP

WIP an earth spirit design. Neither male nor female, inspired  Studio Ghibli films as well as Avatar the last air bender and The Never ending story, Its hair sprouts trees,bells are attatched to parts of its body, arms are dragon like and covered in scales, body is also covered in scales, long body aswell as neck and appears in clouds of mist. 

Grim Reaper quick sketch

Really rough idea for a grim reaper concept.  To me, grim reapers are neither male nor female, are partially bones and flesh as they travel between the world of life and the world of death, have no reproductive organs, are not human and have no senses i.e. sight, hearing, taste etc but rather a 6th sense and can feel life forces.

Dragon Warrior sketch

Here is an idea for a dragon warrior inspired by eastern artwork of dragons.  These people are meant to be un natural looking - the nose is alot flatter and the facial structure more pronounced.  This is just a quick sketch, i hate her face! planning to do this design in full.

Unicorn

Here is a unicorn painting ! done with pencil, water colour and (believe it) makeup! I know that sounds weird but the pink in the unicorns mane is from brushing and blending pink blusher over the painting. i love the soft effect it gives. i used  a light purple eye shadow on the horn.  added highlights in photoshop.

Sketches

Here are just a few sketches! the first is my hand, the second a horses head and the third a horses skull.  All pretty quick.

Helplessness

Another to the mini series of emotions and mentality, Helplessness. Done with pencil and water colour.  I did this at the begining of my second term of university.  I hate the nose now but its not that bad.  This was the forst one i did in the series so its just experimental really.  I'm very happy with the colours in the hair :)

Here is another to the emotions and mentality series.  this is also done with water colour and pencil.  This is called Freedom.
